Xiaomi has begun rolling out the HyperOS 3 update for the Xiaomi 14 Civi in India. The update finally bumps the phone to Android 16 and introduces Xiaomi's new Super Island interface, refreshed iconography and a host of AI-powered features.
Android 16 Arrives on Xiaomi 14 Civi with HyperOS 3
As revealed by Telegram user MIUISTUFF, the official HyperOS 3 update for Xiaomi 14 Civi carries the 3.0.4.0.WNJINXM build version. It takes the phone from Android 15 to Android 16 via a massive 6.3 GB update. This also includes the latest security patch and the Google Play System update version.
Once the update is downloaded and installed, users will gain access to all the HyperOS 3 features that went official back in August 2025. It brings the new Dynamic Island-like Xiaomi Super Island with three simultaneous app support and Android 16's Live Updates feature.
Users will also gain access to new AI-generated dynamic wallpapers and a cinematic depth effect for the lockscreen clock. The overall iconography also has gained a major facelift with Liquid Glass style tinting and desing.
Other than that, the Xiaomi 14 Civi with HyperOS 3 will now be able to enjoy improved ecosystem integration and cross-platform support. There are also a bunch of new AI features with agentic AI support and several AI tools like Live Translation, AI Photo Edit 2.0, AI Writing Assist 2.0 and more.
That said, the HyperOS 3 update is rolling out in batches and is currently rolling out to a few 14 Civi units. It should reach every user in the next couple of days. To check if your device has received the new update, head over to Settings > About phone > HyperOS logo.
