Xiaomi has announced a fresh visual overhaul for its custom Android skin, introducing HyperOS 3 Themes with a focus on deeper personalisation and improved aesthetics. The update was revealed via the brand's official HyperOS India X handle and promises to bring a "cleaner, smoother and more expressive" user experience.
HyperOS 3 Themes take customisation to a new level
HyperOS 3 Themes appears to have been rolled out to refine the overall look and feel of the interface, with updated design elements to make everyday interactions more visually engaging.

A major highlight of the rollout is the expanded catalogue of themes. Users now have access to over 10,000 themes via the Xiaomi Themes Store, allowing extensive customisation.
Additionally, these themes can span a wide range of styles, from minimal, pastel-toned layouts to more vibrant, animated designs, giving users greater flexibility in how they want their Xiaomi phones to look.
Xiaomi is pitching the HyperOS 3 Themes update as a way to "reimagine" phones, suggesting that the changes go beyond surface-level tweaks and instead focus on delivering a fresh visual identity across the system. The preview shared alongside the announcement showcased a redesigned lock screen, updated widgets and more dynamic clock styles.
HyperOS 3 Themes are now live on the Xiaomi Themes Store and users can start exploring the new collection right away.
