Summary

  • Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro has been listed on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 16 GB of RAM and Android 16.
  • The tablet scores 2,967 points in single-core and 9,485 points in multi-core, just a few digits shy of the 10,000 mark.
  • Expected specs include a 144 Hz LCD display, a 10,000+mAh battery and feature HyperOS 3 out of the box.

Xiaomi's next pro-grade Android tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is expected to go official as early as this month itself. While the brand is yet to confirm any detail regarding the upcoming Pad, a new Geekbench listing has shed some light into its performance.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench with the SKU Xiaomi 25091RP04C, confirming the presence of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It has managed to achieve 2,967 points in the single-core test and 9,485 points in multi-core.

Moreover, in a separate Geekbench listing, the device has managed to score 2,831 points in single core and 9,260 points in multi-core tests. Other details confirm the presence of 16 GB RAM and Android 16.

The score fluctuations between the two test runs are not significantly large and are on par with what we expect to see from a Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered device. While the listings have not explicitly mentioned the SoC, the existence of an octa-core chipset with an ARM implementer 81 architecture 8 variant 3 part 1 revision 4 is a clear indication of the 2024 flagship mobile processor from Qualcomm.

To recall, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is a 3 nm unit bearing a 2x 2nd-gen Oryon @ 4.32 GHz and 6x 2nd-gen Oryon @ 3.53GHz architecture. It brings the Adreno 830 GPU with Hexagon AI Engine and Ray Tracing support.

As for the Pad 8 Pro's specifications, not much is known about the Pad 7 successor at the time of writing. However, a previous leak did hint at an LCD display for the smartphone. So, based on the Pad 7 Pro's details, we expect the next Pro Pad from Xiaomi to bring the following upgrades:

  • 12-inch 144 Hz IPS LCD display with Dolby Vision support
  • Snapdragon 8 Elite processor
  • 10,000+mAh battery with 67W fast USB-C charging support
  • Up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage
  • Android 26-based HyperOS 3

That said, the above-mentioned specifications are purely speculative and should be taken with a grain of salt. Since Xiaomi is expected to make the Pad 8 Pro official in September 2025 itself, we shall hear official details from the brand soon in the coming days.
