Xiaomi has officially launched its Xiaomi Power Bank 5i 20000mAh 67W in India. The power bank is aimed at those who have multiple devices to charge on the go and need serious battery capacity to last all day. From smartphones to laptops, the new Xiaomi power bank can deliver fast charging to a wide range of devices.
Xiaomi Power Bank 5i 20,000mAh 67W Specifications and Features
Right off the bat, the biggest USP of the new Xiaomi Power Bank 5i is its 20,000mAh capacity. The brand says it is using three 6,700mAh cells inside, rated at 5V and 3A. However, this triple-cell implementation adds noticeable bulk to the power bank, as it weighs 415 grams.
This is 73 grams heavier than the Xiaomi Compact 20,000mAh power bank that launched last year in India. However, unlike that, the power bank 5i brings considerable fast charging capabilities. The device comes with 67W Turbo output and the brand claims it can take the Xiaomi 17 Ultra from 20% to 80% in just 32 minutes.
When used with the iPhone 17 Pro, the power bank can charge the phone from 20% to 80% in 35 minutes. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra can top up in just 21 minutes. The device delivers output via either the USB-A and USB-C ports or the built-in USB-C cable, which also acts as a lanyard.
The power bank also comes with a dedicated Low Current Mode to ensure safe charging of smart accessories like TWS earphones, smartwatches and more.
On the input side, the Power Bank 5i supports 65W fast charging (put simply, that's the maximum speed it can charge itself at). With a compatible charger, users can top up the power bank in close to 2.5 hours.
Aside from that, the Power Bank 5i features a real-time digital display that shows current battery percentage, fast-charging status and low-current mode. A key benefit of the power bank is that it can charge three devices simultaneously, including smartphones, laptops and a wide range of smart gadgets.
Hence, to ensure safety, Xiaomi is using a 12-Layer Circuit Protection system to keep temperature in check, prevent short circuits, regulate output overvoltage, prevent overcharging and over-discharging.
