Chinese smartphone brand ZTE has consistently launched value-for-money smartphones via its "Blade V" lineup. The brand often combines "inspired" design language with budget specs to launch smartphones in China and globally. Now, it is prepping the Blade V80 Vita to carry forward the same mantra.
ZTE's Blade V80 Vita mimics the iPhone 17 Pro on a budget
Leaker Evan Blass took to X to share the alleged back design of the ZTE Blade V80 Vita. At the very first glance, there is no doubt that the inspiration this time has been the Apple iPhone 17 Pro. It features the same edge-to-edge horizontal and rectangular camera plateau at the top with rounded edges.

It even follows the same triple camera design as that of the iPhones and instead of the LiDAR sensor on the iPhone 17 Pro models, the Blade V80 Vita features the "Neo" branding in a bright red dot. The LED Flash module sits just atop that.
Even the edges of the upcoming phone are also rounded, just like on the iPhones. However, since this is a budget smartphone, expect the back to be made out of plastic. The volume and a red power button are on the right, with the SIM tray and an extra button on the left, similar to iPhones. Looks like ZTE is indeed heavily inspired by Apple's design statement.

It is not immediately clear what this extra button will do. It could either be a customisable Action Button on the iPhones or could be used to summon AI, like the Mind Space button on the OnePlus 13s and the Essential Key on the Nothing Phone 3.
Aside from that, the bottom section houses the speaker grille, the USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and the secondary microphone. Apart from this, the display is surrounded by thin bezels on the sides but has a considerable bottom chin. We don't know the name of the Blade V80 Vita leaked colourway, but it appears to be a light blue shade.
That said, as already mentioned, ZTE will most likely launch the Blade V80 Vita as yet another budget smartphone. While the specs of the upcoming phone are yet to leak, based on what the Blade V70 Vita offered, we can draw the following spec expectations:
- 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz LCD display
- Unisoc T607
- 5,000mAh battery with 25W USB-C charging
- MyOS 15
- 50 MP main camera and 16 MP selfie camera
- AI features
