Xiaomi 17 Ultra's camera hardware is so good that it will make you forget about professional DSLR and Mirrorless shooters. The night shots from this phone are simply out of this world, and the multi-focal length captures detailed 200MP shots at varying distances. Not to forget, it also packs a gorgeous display, strong performance, and a dependable battery. However, the software has adware, and there is a need for a little more polish in the UI. Overall, it is an excellent "camera" phone to get, if that is where your priority lies.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max delivers the best of what Apple has to offer with a bright and big screen, exceptional performance, amazing cameras amd great battery life. It does feel a little bulky and the iOS 26 experience is bogged down by minor bugs but overall, if you want to get the best iPhone right now, then this is the one to go for.

The Nothing Phone (4a) brings a well-rounded upgrade over last year's model with a high-res display, better performance, longer battery, and an improved design. However, the lenses at the back suffer colour difference and the Glyph placement might split opinions. But, this is hands down one of the best camera setups in the segment. So, if you want a solid midrange phone with great cameras, Nothing Phone (4a) should be the default pick in 2026.

The Realme GT 7 packs the right goodies like a high-end chipset, all-around cameras, a pretty good battery life with really fast charging speeds. If we’re to nitpick, thermal management and ultrawide shots could have been better but that’s asking too much from an otherwise well-packaged phone in the segment.

With an excellent software experience with Nothing OS, a versatile camera setup, and a bright 120 Hz OLED display, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro still champions its place as one of the best mid-range smartphones you can buy, even after six months. Performance is not its strongest suit, and the camera lacks consistency, but still, the overall package is stylish, clean and thoughtfully built.
