Jio, Airtel, BSNL Add Millions of Mobile Subscribers in India in September 2026: TRAIIndia’s total wireless (mobile) subscriber base grew from 1.29 billion in August to 1.3 billion in September 2026. Of the new 6.57 million subscribers, Jio added 2.71 million connections while Airtel added 2.69 million.
