Ai+ Pulse 2 and Nova 2 Series Prices in India Hiked by up to Rs 2,000

Ai+ has been swept up in the ongoing RAM Crisis as the phone maker has decided to bump up the prices of its smartphones by up to Rs 2,000. The brand has officially announced a price increase on the Ai+ Pulse 2 and Nova 2 series, effective immediately.

According to the brand, the price increase of up to Rs 2,000 is a direct result of ongoing supply chain hurdles and increasing costs of memory components, manufacturing, and logistics. We checked the prices of these smartphones on Flipkart and can confirm the price increase.

The brand claims it absorbed some of the initial financial blows, but could no longer sustain doing so. This reflects a broader trend we've seen, much like POCO and Realme price hikes impacting the budget segment the most. Here's a table with old and new pricing.

Starting with the Ai+ Pulse 2, Ai+ Nova 2 5G and Nova 2 Neo 5G, their base 4 GB + 64 GB variants see a Rs 1,000 bump and now cost Rs 10,999,  Rs 13,999, and Rs 13,999, respectively (up from Rs 9,999, Rs 12,999 and Rs 12,999). The Pulse 2's 4 GB + 128 GB variant sees a modest Rs 500 hike, now costing Rs 11,499 (up from Rs 10,999).

The Ai+ Nova 2 Pro, on the other hand, suffers a steeper Rs 2,000 hike, with the 6 GB + 128 GB variant costing Rs 17,999 (previously Rs 15,999). The higher 8 GB + 128 GB variant climbs to Rs 19,999 (up from Rs 17,999).

Finally, the Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra also takes a Rs 2,000 hit, with the base 6 GB + 128 GB now coming at Rs 20,999 (previously Rs 18,999), whereas the 8 GB + 128 GB reaches Rs 22,999 (previously Rs 20,999).

With the price hikes in full swing across the smartphone industry, users looking for new 5G smartphones under Rs 20,000 are advised not to wait too long. The prices are expected to increase further as the supply chain tightens.
