Apple has surprised everyone with a special event announcement, set to happen next month. While the Cupertino brand has not shared any specific details, it is expected to unveil a slew of new products, including the new iPhone 17e.
Apple special experience event set for March 4
The Cupertino giant has sent out a bunch of invites to select media members to join the iPhone-maker in a one-of-a-kind "experience" event. It will be held on March 4, 2026, at 9:00 AM ET (or 7:30 PM IST) in New York, London and Shanghai. Unlike regular Apple events, which happen at Apple Park and are live-streamed globally, the upcoming event is likely smaller in scale.

As for what exactly this "special Apple Experience" has in store, there is no further information on that. The invitation features a 3D Apple logo design composed of yellow, green and blue discs. It is unclear at the time of writing whether this event will be livestreamed or Apple will hold post-event announcements and press briefings.
However, it's certain that the March 4 event is the beginning of Apple's yearly hardware refresh cycle and we will likely see the iPhone 17e go official. The brand could also use the event to unveil the latest M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro, new iPads, a refreshed Studio Display, Apple TV and HomePod Mini.
There are also rumours of a low-cost MacBook that is set to debut with the Apple A18 processor. It is expected to come in a 13-inch variant and start from as low as Rs 60,000. All in all, only time will tell what the first Apple event of 2026 has in store for fans. With the ongoing RAM crisis, all eyes will be on how the Cupertino brand prices its new hardware.
