After weeks of anticipation, Apple has officially launched the Apple Watch Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3, bringing a major leap in durability, connectivity and health tracking. Both models now feature stronger scratch resistance, 5G connectivity and advanced health tracking tools like blood pressure monitoring, sleep apnea detection, hypertension notifications and more.
Apple Watch Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3 Specifications and Features
The Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3 boast a similar design to the Series 10 and Ultra 2. Their displays now use LTPO3 technology and the bezels have been thinned somewhat, resulting in a slight increase in resolution. Apple also claims that the watches are now twice as resistant to scratches.

The chip powering the Series 11 and Ultra 3 is still S10, which is based on the same architecture as the S9. However, Apple claims that when combined with efficient displays, the watches should last a bit longer.
Apple claims the Watch Series 11 can last for 24 hours on a single charge, whereas the Watch Ultra 3, with its bigger battery, is rated for 42 hours on a single charge. The cellular models of both watches get a 5G modem for faster connectivity.

Coming to the health and safety features, the Apple Watch Series 11 brings blood pressure monitoring, sleep score, sleep apnea detection, overnight health data tracking, menstrual cycle tracking and more. The Watch Ultra 3 gets the same features, in addition to Emergency Satellite connectivity.
This year, both Apple Watches "can spot signs of chronic high blood pressure and notify you of possible hypertension." The Hypertension notifications feature is currently pending FDA clearance and is coming to the watches later this month.

The Series 11 and Ultra 3 come with Apple's latest watchOS 26 out of the box, featuring a Liquid Glass design and new features like AI-based health and fitness coaching when paired with Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone 17 series devices.
A standout feature is the Workout Buddy feature, which is a new "text-to-speech model that generated personalised pep talks using voice data from an Apple Fitness+ trainer, so it has the right energy, style and tone for a workout. "
