Last month, the Asus Pad T3201 was announced as the brand's first Android tablet in almost three years, marking a re-entry into the tablet space. Now, Asus has confirmed the Asus Pad T3201 India launch date, pricing details and key specifications.

A dedicated Flipkart microsite has confirmed that the Asus Pad T3201 will launch in India on August 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Subsequently, a dedicated product page for the tablet has gone live on the brand's India website.
Thanks to these pages, we know that the Asus Pad T3201 price in India will start from Rs 62,990. We also get to know that the tablet will be sold with a smart folio case in the box and users will be able to use it to either prop the tablet vertically or horizontally. Asus Pad T3201 Specifications and Features
Starting with the display, the tablet is confirmed to feature a 12.2-inch dual-layer (possibly Tandem) OLED panel with a 2.8K resolution and a fast 144 Hz refresh rate. The screen will also support HDR10+ playback, bring 100% DCI-P3 and reach a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
This makes the Asus Pad T3201 very special, as the only OLED display tablets in India are Samsung's Galaxy Tab S series and Apple's iPad Pro models, and they do not come cheap.
The rest of the tablet's specs are also competitive since it will be powered by the Dimensity 8300 chipset, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The tablet will also offer 1 TB of expandable microSD card storage and 4 GB of virtual RAM support.
The Asus Pad T3201 will run on Android 16 out of the box. As for battery, the tablet will bring a 9,000mAh capacity to the table with support for 45W fast charging. Connectivity options will include facial recognition, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3
Asus is also bundling its GlideX workstation software to help users switch between their PC and tablet seamlessly, share files between them and also gain remote access. The tablet will be compatible with the Asus Pen 2.0 stylus and also come with smart keyboard support. Both of these will be sold separately.
Apart from that, the Asus Pad T3201 will come with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP selfie camera.
With the Asus Pad T3201, the brand is finally giving Indian buyers a more economical OLED tablet, which ticks the other boxes too.
