Asus has launched a new Android tablet after a hiatus of almost three years. The all-new Asus Pad is an upper mid-range tablet with the key USP being its Tandem OLED display. It also comes with a big battery, a Dimensity processor and the latest Android 16 update.
Asus Pad Specifications and Features
The Asus Pad (T3201) features a 12.2-inch 2.8K dual-stacked Tandem OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3. It helps the tablet achieve higher brightness, improve power efficiency and increase the panel lifespan compared to traditional OLEDs.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Dimensity 8300 chipset, paired with 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also comes with 1 TB of expandable microSD card storage and 4 GB of virtual RAM support.

On the software front, Asus has equipped the tablet with Android 16 out of the box. As for battery and charging, the Asus Pad features a big 9,000mAh capacity with 45W fast USB-C charging support. The battery is packed inside a 523-gram chassis that's about 6.5mm slim.
For video calls and document scanning, the tablet offers a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 PM front lens.
In terms of connectivity options, the tablet brings ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus and a keyboard folio case support. Taking productivity to the next level, the Asus Pad also comes with GlideX support, which allows users to screen share, transfer files and execute multi-device workflows between their tablet and PC.
It also gets dual-band Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, Doby Atmos-backed quad speakers and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port.
As for pricing and availability, those details are not out yet. Asus says the brand will release them once the tablet goes on sale in different parts of the world. We hope it arrives to India as good tablets with OLED displays are rare.
