Essential Space now makes it easier to find and view captured memories
Nothing's Essential handle posted on X that it is rolling out Related Captures starting today, on January 21, 2026. With this new feature, Nothing phones are finally gaining the ability to view similar memories with ease.

Previously, users needed to exit one saved memory to view the next. However, with the new update, Nothing will use on-device AI to automatically identify and sync related memories. To make this happen, users are required to keep the Essential Memory toggle on from the Essential Space setting's menu.
Once done, a new Related Captures option will reflect inside saved memories with a carousel-type scrollable menu. Users can easily click on them and swipe left and right to either go to the previous or next related memory.
That said, Related Captures is now rolling out to all Nothing OS 4.0 eligible phones with Essential Key. This means that from the Nothing Phone (2a) to the latest Phone (3a) Lite, the update is now live. If it is not visible, make sure to head over to the Play Store and bring Essential Space to the latest 1.0.34 system version.
