Every year, Motorola releases two new flip phones under the Razr branding. While one is positioned as an affordable option, the other one goes all in with flagship specs and pricing. This year, we expect the brand to launch the Motorola Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra, and we have our first official details for the latter.
Motorola Razr 70 Ultra Design and Specifications Leak
Courtesy of veteran tipster OnLeaks, we have our first look at the upcoming Motorola Razr 60 Ultra sequel, the Razr 70 Ultra. The tipster has managed to grab several high-res CAD renders of the flip phone, revealing its design from all angles. Based on those, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot different with the phone.

For starters, it retains the same clamshell design of the Razr 60 Ultra with an expansive 4-inch outer display and a 7-inch inner folding screen. The upcoming phone will also supposedly retain the same rounded edges and corners. However, there is now a new dedicated Moto AI key on the left side of the top flipping portion.
Also, the Razr 70 Ultra will have slightly different dimensions compared to the Razr 60 Ultra. It is said to measure 171.3 x 74.1 x 7.8 mm when unfolded and 88.0 x 74.1 x 15.8 mm when folded. In simple words, the Razr 70 Ultra is slightly thicker, thinner when folded and taller.

Aside from that, the volume and power buttons are still on the right side and the bottom portion houses a microphone, speaker grille, SIM slot, and a USB-C port. As for internals, while the tipster has not revealed much, we expect Motorola to stick to flagship-level specs for the Razr 70 Ultra.
It will most likely arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and will also bring a close to 5,000mAh battery. We expect the phone to ship with Android 16-based Hello UI update and feature dual 50 MP cameras on the outer screen.
That said, with new Razr phones typically launching in the month of May, we still have a few more months left for more details to emerge. So stay tuned and keep a close watch at Beebom Gadgets for more updates.
