Summary

  • Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold renders reveal new Moonstone and Jade hues for the foldable.
  • The core design is quite similar to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, with the specs getting an upgrade.
  • Pixel 10 Pro Fold could feature a 6.4-inch cover screen, Tensor G5 SoC, IP68 rating and 5,015mAh battery.

The Google Pixel 10 series will break cover in just a month's time and the leaks are nowhere near the end. The latest one reveals the design and colour options of the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold via official-looking renders.

Thanks to fellow tech publication Android Headlines, we now have the full design and colourways of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold laid down before us. This comes after the Pixel 10 renders and the Pixel 10 Pro and the Pixel 10 Pro XL renders surfaced online recently.

On the outside, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold look identical to its predecessor. From the two-part squircle camera module in the top-left corner at the back to the Google logo at the centre, it will be hard to tell them apart. However, the identifier lies in the Pixel 10 Pro Fold colourways.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is said to embrace two new colourways, Moonstone and Jade. This marks the departure of the classic Obsidian and Porcelain hues that we saw with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

The Moonstone colour option is sort of a slate blue hue that is neither vibrant nor muted. It might appear greyish from different angles. Also, given how glossy the frame looks on this colourway in the leaked render, it could give users a real hard time to keep the device free from smudges.

The Jade option, on the other hand, is more a soft pistachio green hue with a sort of golden frame. It looks very classy and premium in the renders and could be our top pick among the lot.

If you ask us, we are optimistic with Google's take to equip the entire Pixel 10 lineup with fun and vibrant options. However, we do feel that the inclusion of atleat the Obsidian hue could have given users a more subtle option to pick from for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

In terms of specifications, just a while back, the full specification list of the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold emerged online. It hinted at a larger 6.4-inch outer display compared to the 6.3-inch screen that we saw with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. This display will also reportedly pack a higher peak brightness of 3,000 nits as opposed to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold's 2,700 nits.

Under the hood, the next Pixel Pro Fold is expected to be powered by Google's upcoming Tensor G5 chipset. It will likely be based on a 3nm process node, and will be coupled with 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. If true, this will be the first time Google has opted for 1 TB of storage on its foldable phone.

On the battery front, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could feature a larger 5,015mAh unit, 7% more than its predecessor. Reports also indicate that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will feature the same camera unit as its predecessor, offering a 48 MP primary sensor, a 10.8 MP 5x telephoto lens, and a 10.5 MP ultrawide sensor at the back. It could also feature the same 10 MP selfie cameras, one on each of the outer and inner displays.

Lastly and most importantly, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could be the most durable among the current generation of foldable smartphones, with an IP68 rating. It's the first foldable to get this sort of water and dust resistance. Even the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 doesn't offer that sort of Ingress protection.

Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 10 series on August 20, 2025, and with just shy of a month to go, we can expect an official announcement and more details to surface soon.
