We saw a fair bit of limited-edition smartphones launch in the last few years, but we did not expect Google to make one. After a brief teaser, the brand has launched a special edition Pixel 10a in Japan, in collaboration with a Japanese lifestyle brand, Heralbony. It's a new colour that will only be sold in Japan.

Google Pixel 10a Arrives in Isai Blue Colourway

Google has launched the Pixel 10a in a brand new, limited colourway called Isai Blue in Japan. Going beyond just a colour swap, this looks like an artistic collaboration with one of Japan's leading lifestyle brands and marketing agencies, Heralbony. For those unaware, it's a brand that transforms artworks by artists with disabilities into design products.

The Isai Blue edition is designed to stand out with a unique deep blue finish on the back panel. Besides, the exclusivity extends to the entire unboxing experience, with the packaging itself lathed with Heralbony's signature artwork, Untitled, sometimes referred to as Cosmic. It was made by the artist Midori Kudo.

The special edition also includes a unique frame case that should offer decent protection to the Isai Blue variant, while users can still flaunt the unique colour. Other contents include stickers, including an Android Gingerbread-style bot sticker made by Nazomi Fujita.

The Pixel 10a Isai Blue variant is now available for pre-order on the Google Store Japan and will go on sale on May 20, 2026. Google says there will be limited stock, so interested users might need to act quickly before it runs out. It will cost just as much as the other Pixel 10a colourways but will only be available in 256 GB, priced at 94,900 Yen (approximately Rs 55,000).

There are no changes under the hood. The phone runs the same Tensor G4 processor, with the same display, camera setup and battery capacity. Users eyeing the Isai Blue variant may have to save the date, i.e., May 20, 2026.
