Google has officially launched the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL alongside the standard Pixel 11 and flagship Pixel 11 Pro Fold in India at its Made by Google event. The Pro models are powered by the brand's new Tensor G6 chipset and feature a reworked camera module design which also houses a new Pixel Glow RGB LED light strip.
Google Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL Specifications and Features
The Pixel 11 Pro sticks with a 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display at a 2856 x 1280 resolution, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL steps up to a 6.8-inch panel at 2992 x 1344. Both displays support an adaptive 1-120 Hz refresh rate, hit up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness and are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 along with a new anti-scratch display coating.
The Pro model measures 152.7 x 71.9 x 8.4mm and weighs 204 grams, while the Pro XL comes in at 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5mm and 226 grams. Both phones also feature a camera bar that's 40% thinner than the previous generation, housing a new, larger main camera sensor.
Talking about cameras, both the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL share an identical triple rear camera setup. This includes a 50 MP primary lens at the helm, paired with a 48 MP ultrawide lens with macro capability and a 48 MP periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom.
Meanwhile, selfies are handled by a 42 MP front camera with a 103° field of view. Both phones can now shoot 4K bokeh videos and the camera app automatically extracts still pictures from recorded video.
The standout new feature on both phones is Pixel Glow, an RGB LED light strip built into the camera bar that lights up for incoming calls and notifications. It also pulses in a distinct pattern whenever Gemini Intelligence is actively processing something.
Powering both phones is Google's new Tensor G6 chipset, paired with the Titan M3 security coprocessor. This is the first major upgrade to Titan in five years, now adding safeguards against future quantum computing-based attacks.
In India, both the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL are available in 12 GB and 16 GB RAM configurations, paired with 256 GB and 512 GB storage options, respectively.
Battery capacity comes in at 4,850mAh on the Pixel 11 Pro and 5,115mAh on the Pixel 11 Pro XL. The former also comes with 30W wired charging support, while the latter takes it up to 45W. There's also Qi2 wireless charging support on both. Google says the phones can add up to 15 hours of battery life from just 15 minutes of charging.
Software-wise, both phones run Android 17 with a deeper layer of Gemini integration, offering sharper context understanding across a user's Google account and tighter interaction across different parts of the phone.
A new Creator Tab brings Video Boost with 8K Pro Stable Video support and Google has also added a smoother onboarding flow specifically for users switching over from a different operating system. Every Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL purchase also includes six months of Google AI Pro at no extra cost.
Following its usual cadence, Google is also promising seven years of major OS updates and security patches for its next-generation Pixel phones.
