Google has finally launched its first Bluetooth tracker, the Pixel Tag, in India at its Made by Google hardware event. The tracker provides a seamless item-finding solution built directly for the Android ecosystem as it integrates with Google's Find My Device network.
Pixel Tag Specifications and Features
Starting with the aesthetics, the Pixel Tag departs from the standard circular coin shape seen on many competing devices and adopts an oblong shape reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2.
The tracker arrives in a single Fog Light white finish with a smooth outer shell, which users can pair with an attachment loop or keyring hole that can be purchased separately. This can help clip the device onto backpacks, keys, or travel luggage.
On the functional side, the tracker stays connected to Google's Find My Device network. It comes with Ultra Wideband, leveraging devices on the same network around you to find lost items and precisely track where they are. It's worth noting that precise finding is only work on phones that support it.
For quick close-range searches, there's an integrated speaker positioned beneath the lower grille. It emits a high-pitched audio chime to help locate hidden items around the house.
Powering the Pixel Tag is a standard coin cell CR2032 battery, which is rated to last for about a year of normal daily use. It can be easily swapped by prying open the tag from the back. The Pixel Tag can be tracked and controlled using the Google Find Hub app, and boasts an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water.

Google Pixel Tag Price in India and Availability
The Google Pixel Tag is priced at Rs 3,799, while a pack of four will set users back Rs 12,900. It comes in just one colourway, Fog, and will be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart and the Google India storefront. Deliveries are scheduled to start sometime in November 2026.
