Back in August 2025, Google launched its brand-new Pixel 10 series in India. Now, after four months of launch, the brand is making it easy for people to own the latest Pixel smartphone and upgrade to the next seamlessly.
Google's Pixel Upgrade Program promises
Google has entered into a strategic partnership with one of India's biggest electronics resellers, Cashify, to make the Pixel Upgrade Program possible in India. As part of this, eligible Pixel smartphones will be available to purchase with 24-month no-cost EMI plans.
Users will then have the option to upgrade to the next new Pixel after 9 months of EMI instalments at no extra cost. With the Pixel Upgrade Program, customers are given an assured buyback of their existing phones.
As part of the new ownership plan, existing Pixel users can only opt to upgrade to the Pixel 10 series, currently. The transfer of ownership is only possible from one Pixel phone to another Pixel phone. The plan is not eligible for other brands' smartphones.

- Only EMI plans valid for 24 months are eligible for this new plan
- Users will have to enrol their current smartphone via the Cashify Pixel Upgrade portal
- Once eligibility is confirmed, customers will need to visit the nearest Cashify Partner store to upgrade
- PAN and Aadhar cards need to be presented at the store to either opt into the plan or get the new Pixel smartphone after 9 months
- Currently, only Bajaj Finance and HDFC Banks are allowing 24 months no-cost EMI conversions
- Google Pixel Upgrade Program members will also receive Rs 7,000 Google Store Credits, one year free Google AI Pro subscription, six months of Fitbit premium, three months of YouTube premium and access to premium plans of other Google services
