HMD has been busy refreshing its feature phone lineup. Late last year, the company launched the HMD 100 and HMD 101 in India. Now a new model, the HMD 106 Pure has appeared on an online store in Pakistan, with no announcement from HMD and no listing on its official website yet.
HMD 106 Pure Specifications and Features
The HMD 106 Pure is a basic keypad phone built for calls and texts. It's designed to look a lot like the HMD 101, with a compact body and a classic number pad.
At the front, there's a small QQVGA display with a resolution of 120 x 160 pixels. The phone is powered by the Unisoc 6531E chipset and runs S30+, HMD's simple feature phone software.

HMD 106 Pure packs a 1,000mAh battery, which should easily last a few days on a single charge. Users also get a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 32 GB.
Moving on, the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack with FM radio. Like most FM phones, you'll need to plug in wired earphones, since they work as the antenna.
However, there are a few things missing. The HMD 106 Pure supports only 2G (GSM) networks. There's no 4G, and there's no camera either.
