Honor has officially confirmed the arrival of its next-generation flip smartphone, the Magic V Flip 2. The firm has revealed a design teaser in collaboration with a popular designer.
Honor's official Weibo account posted a picture revealing the crystal-studded and shiny back design of the Magic V Flip 2 in collaboration with Professor Jimmy Choo. The original V Flip last year had a special edition in collaboration with Choo as well.

While the post doesn't confirm the release date of the V Flip 2, the Weibo post does say that the phone will go on sale soon, presumably this month. As for the specifications, the Flip 2 is expected to feature a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED main display with a 4-inch LTPO cover display with a high refresh rate.
The phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, which is also found in the likes of iQOO Neo 10 and Oppo K13 Turbo Pro. Powering the device could be the largest battery in a flip phone ever, a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and 50W wireless charging.
The phone is expected to run on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, and could feature a 50 MP primary snapper for photos. Previous rumours suggest it could be just 7 mm thin and weigh around 190 grams. The V Flip 2 is expected to launch in four colours – Moon Shadow White, Titanium Sky Grey, Dawn Purple and Dream Blue.
With the Honor V Flip arriving for 4,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 60,000) last year, the Magic V Flip 2 is expected to be priced similarly. We don't have any further information about V Flip 2's specifications, but stay tuned as we will cover any new information that pops up about the device and its launch.
