Honor has finally lifted the veil off of its latest book-style foldable phone, the Magic V6. It has become the world's first foldable phone to feature Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, IP68 + IP69 rating and also the largest battery yet, setting a new standard for the next generation of foldables.
Honor Magic V6 Specifications and Features
The Honor Magic V6 is the first foldable smartphone to feature a 6,660mAh battery and Honor is using a silicon-carbon battery to achieve this. The total capacity is split between two individual battery units, housed in each folding half, with a total 921Wh/L energy density. It is backed by 80W fast USB-C charging and 66W wireless charging. The phone can also charge other devices wirelessly thanks to support for Reverse Wireless Charging.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and is paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 out of the box and Honor is pledging 7 years of software and security updates.
Coming to the displays, the inner foldable panel is a 7.95-inch 2K 120 Hz LTPO 2.0 flexible AMOLED display with 44% reduction in the crease depth and anti-glare coating. The outer screen is a 6.52-inch Full HD+ 120Hz LTPO AMOLED panel with 6,000 nits peak brightness.

Camera-wise, the folding phone brings a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP main camera, a 64 MP 3x periscope telephoto lens and a 50 MP ultra-wide angle lens. It also uses Honor's multi-sensor fusion computing system, which deploys AI white balance and dynamic adjustment for true-to-life colours. There are also two 20 MP selfie cameras at the front.
Apart from this, Honor Magic V6 is also the first foldable with an IP68 + IP69 rating. There is also a NanoCrystal Shield coating on top of the outer display and a 5-star SGS drop resistance and screen anti-impact rating. The hinge of the foldable has been rated for 500,000 folds and uses 2800MPa Honor Super Steel.
As for pricing and availability, Honor has not shared much on those fronts yet. The brand has confirmed that the phone will go official in select regions in H2 2026. It will come in Red, Gold, White and Black colourways and other configuration details will be revealed on a region-to-region basis.
