The Honor Power 2 is all set to make history as one of the biggest battery smartphones to ever exist. However, battery endurance is not just where the phone will outlast other phones, as the brand has now confirmed triple IP ratings for the phone. Well, it looks like the Honor Power 2 will outlast you too.
Honor Power 2 will feature IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings
Honor took to its official Weibo handle to reveal that the upcoming Power 2 will not just feature the IP68 and IP69 ratings, but also the IP69K rating. What this essentially means is that the phone will not just be able to withstand dust and water submersion but also high-pressure water jets.

To recall, the first Honor Power didn't even have an official IP rating, although Honor did claim it to be splash resistant. So, going from there to a triple IP rating is not just a big step forward but also secures the Power 2 as one of the most durable phones from the brand.
However, it's not just durability where the upcoming Honor Power 2 will see a massive upgrade.
Honor Power 2 specifications
The Honor Power 2 will pack a massive 10,080mAh battery, which is a straight 2,080mAh jump from the predecessor's 8,000mAh capacity. The newly launched Honor Win series also offers massive 10,000mAh batteries. In addition, the Power 2 will bring 80W fast charging support to the table.
In terms of optics, the brand has confirmed a 50 MP dual rear camera setup for the phone and a 16 MP selfie shooter. The smartphone will also offer up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.

We also got a good look at the Honor Power 2 design recently and it seems to be heavily inspired by the iPhone 17 Pro design. Even the colour options are similar, namely the Sunrise Orange, Midnight Black and Snow White variants. The phone is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8500 chipset and pack an impressive 6.8-inch 120 Hz 1.5K OLED display.
The Honor Power 2 launch date in China has been set for January 5, 2026, so we won't have to wait for long to know all the details.
