Honor recently touched the 10,000mAh battery capacity mark with the launch of Honor Win series. Now, the brand is already all set to break that record with its upcoming Honor Power 2 launch in China next month.
Honor Power 2 launch date in China set for January 5
Honor took to its official Weibo handle to confirm that the Honor Power 2 China launch date has been scheduled for January 5, 2026, at 7:30 PM CST (or 5:00 PM IST).

The poster shared by the brand also confirms the battery capacity to be 10,080mAh, which will potentially make it one of the best battery backup phones out there upon launch. It will also offer a fast 80W fast charging, but miss out on wireless charging.
This also falls in line with previous reports that suggested the same Honor Power 2 battery capacity. The brand also claims that this battery unit can deliver 20.3 hours of continuous usage, 14.2 hours of gaming and 22 hours of short-video playback.
Also, do note that the Power 2 will then pack 2,080mAh more capacity than its predecessor, the first Honor Power. However, it's not just the battery capacity that will receive a boost.
Honor Power 2 specifications
While the Honor Power was powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the upcoming Power 2 will use MediaTek's Dimensity 8500 Elite processor instead. Moreover, the chipset will pair up with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

As for cameras, the Honor Power 2 will feature a 50 MP main camera and a 5 MP ultra-wide. Meanwhile, at the front, the phone will sport a 16 MP selfie shooter.
We also get a good look at the phone's design and it seems to be heavily inspired by the iPhone 17 Pro, with that familiar horizontal camera module. The Honor Power 2 colours will include Sunrise Orange, Midnight Black and Snow White.
With the Honor Power 2 launch date in China being right around the corner, expect the brand to officially confirm more details soon.
