Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max 200 MP Periscope Camera Tipped
According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the highly anticipated Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max could feature a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera. The tipster details that it will be a "super-bottom" (large sensor) for better low-light performance.

In his previous posts, the tipster also revealed that it will be a 1/1.28-inch unit to be precise, and will use a long-range telephoto lens. This specific hardware features a native 96mm focal length, providing 4x optical zoom. The sensor model could be OV52A or SCC0XS.
Huawei is using this massive resolution to push its software and sensor-crop capabilities further. The leak notes that the Pura 90 Pro Max will support a 240mm 10x "ISZ mixed zoom", allowing for crisp long-distance photography and crop without losing details.

Besides photography, the sensor will also elevate the phone's video capabilities. DCS highlights an impressive 40mm 20x telephoto video recording capabilities. The tipster previously also noted that the phone will feature a 200 MP main camera as well.
The Huawei Pura 90 Pro design was recently confirmed, showcasing the phone in colourful gradient colourways reminiscent of the original P series smartphones. The Pura 90 Pro Max is expected to arrive with a 6.87-inch 1.5K display, but not much is known about the smartphone besides that.
With the launch date set for April 20, 2026, we should hear more about the smartphone from Huawei soon. Until then, stay tuned.
