As promised, Xiaomi is now widening the testing pool for HyperOS 4. The brand rolled out the first Global beta to its recently launched flagships earlier this month and has now confirmed that the HyperOS 4 Global Beta program is expanding its device support starting today.

Xiaomi HyperOS posted an official announcement poster on its X account showing that early access recruitment is now open for four more Xiaomi smartphones. They are:

To join the testing program, users will need to go to the Xiaomi Community app. From there, they can navigate to the "Me" section, tap on "Beta testing," and then select "Recruiting test" to fill out a brief on-screen questionnaire.

Xiaomi notes that a specific account verification step might be required for certain builds. Once your application is approved, the beta firmware will be delivered directly over the air (OTA).

It's worth noting that installing Beta on primary devices is not advised. Besides, users can only manually roll back to a stable version of HyperOS 3, and it will completely wipe your data.

That said, HyperOS 4 features include major visual and functional changes, including Liquid Glass-like aesthetics, stacked notifications and an overhauled Control Centre.

The stable release is expected to arrive later this year, starting with the Xiaomi 17, 17 Ultra and the Leica Leitzphone, followed by other HyperOS 4-eligible phones.
