Infinix has silently expanded its Hot series in Indonesia by launching a new Infinix Hot 70 smartphone. It is positioned in the budget phone category and features a vibrant design along with specs like a MediaTek processor, LCD display, a big battery and more.
Infinix Hot 70 Specifications and Features
Starting with the design, the Infinix Hot 70 features what the brand is calling the “Dynamic Shine Design”, which is based on the idea of "self expression tech" and fun colour options. The phone comes in six colourways – Thermo Orange, Quiet Violet, Green Texture, Night Pulse, Silver Dancer and Dive Blue.
The Thermo Orange option is the only one that brings a heat-sensitive back cover which can transition from a light orange (65°C and above) to a deep orange (below 0°C) colourway based on the fluctuations. There is also an RGB light right around the camera deco which can interact with scenarios like calls, gaming and more.
At the front, the phone features a large 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate and 700 nits of peak brightness. This panel is encased within a 7.49mm-thick body that's also quite durable with an IP65 rating.
Powering the phone is the Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS2.2 storage. It runs on XOS 16 based on Android 16, which brings the brand's Folax AI voice assistant to the phone, and Infinix is promising 3 years of software updates.
Also on the inside, the Infinix Hot 70 features a 6,000mAh battery, paired with 45W fast USB-C charging and 10W reverse wired charging support. For photography, the phone is equipped with a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter.
As for the rest, the phone brings a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a single bottom-firing speaker, dual SIM 4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, an infrared sensor and a USB-C 2.0 port.
Pricing-wise, the Infinix Hot 70 starts in Indonesia from 2,199,000 Indonesian rupiah (approximately Rs 12,000) for the base 4 GB + 128 GB variant. It also comes in two other RAM and storage options and can cost upwards of 3,399,000 Indonesian rupiah (approximately Rs 19,000).
