It is easily outmatched by its competitors in the segment, and feels like a weak entry into 2026 from the brand. It can be a decent buy, but only if it is heavily discounted; else there area a ton of better balanced phones out there.

The Redmi Note 14 SE is a budget phone that ticks a lot of boxes. You get an AMOLED display which is bright enough outdoors, loud stereo speakers, decent processor and a really good camera. But the battery size is not up to standard, and you also have to buy the charger separately. If you’re okay with that, this is the perfect package for the segment.
