iQOO 15 Ultra Design and Launch Timeline Officially Revealed

This year, iQOO is going to introduce an Ultra-branded flagship with the iQOO 15 Ultra and it's shaping up to be a beefed-up version of the regular iQOO 15. Now, the brand has shared what the upcoming phone will look like and when we can expect it to launch.

iQOO 15 Ultra gets a Blade Runner-like makeover

The official iQOO Weibo handle has finally lifted the curtains off the iQOO 15 Ultra design and it will be available in the 2077 Flowing Orange and 2049 Cold Blue colour options. Both variants feature a new hexagonal honeycomb-like textured back, a large squircle camera deco and a flat metal frame.

From the looks of it, seems like the upcoming iQOO 15 Ultra has been heavily inspired by the iconic Blade Runner movies. It manages to bring a sci-fi inspired look while retaining the core gameresque vibe intact. Also, pressure-sensitive shoulder trigger buttons are visible along with the power and volume keys on the right side of the frame.

Aside from that, there's a new horizontal light strip inside the camera island, which could function as a breathing light. Moreover, multiple reports claim that the phone will feature an integrated cooling fan and the vents are discreetly hidden at the bottom section of the camera deco. This could come in handy to keep the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 from overheating.

Now, while iQOO is yet to reveal most of the key details about the 15 Ultra, leaks suggest a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO 144 Hz AMOLED display, a 7,000mAh battery with 100W fast USB-C charging support and a 50 MP triple camera setup.

That said, the brand hasn't confirmed any of these specs, so take it with a pinch of salt. But since the design has been officially confirmed now, expect the brand to gradually start confirming all the details in the coming days.

The brand has also confirmed the iQOO 15 Ultra launch date in China to be sometime in early February. However, sadly, it's not expected to launch in India.
