iQOO has confirmed that its next tablet, the iQOO Pad Ultra, will launch on September 29, 2026, in China. The brand is billing it as a dedicated "e-sports tablet" built around offering sustained gaming performance in a body that's thin and light enough to carry around comfortably.
The launch date lines up with the iQOO 16 China launch date, meaning the Pad Ultra won't be walking onto the stage alone. Now, what sets the iQOO Pad Ultra apart from a typical tablet is a built-in cooling fan, something iQOO has already detailed ahead of launch.

The fan measures just 30 x 30 x 3.5mm but is rated to spin up to 14,500rpm, moving as much as 0.94 CFM of airflow across a 1,661 mm² heat-dissipation surface. The goal is to stop the tablet from throttling during long gaming sessions, which tends to be where slim tablets struggle most.
iQOO is backing the tablet up with accessories built specifically for gaming, including a stretchable controller attachment and a rear grip designed to make extended handheld sessions less tiring.
Teaser images shared by iQOO show an 8.8-inch display with a centred punch-hole camera and slim bezels running around the edges. Despite the cooling hardware packed inside, the tablet is remarkably thin at 5.74mm and weighs approximately 298 grams.
Around the back, the iQOO Pad Ultra features a square camera module with a built-in air vent integrated into the design. iQOO has also confirmed two colour options at launch: Ender Black and Star Silver.
While iQOO hasn't issued a full specification sheet yet, we expect the brand to reveal more details in the coming days. So, stay tuned for all the updates on both the upcoming flagship tablet and the iQOO 16.
