Itel has added another entry to its budget-focused A series with the launch of the Itel A300C in India, priced under Rs 11,000. The phone pairs a large battery and a durability-first build with basic 4G connectivity, aimed at first-time or budget-conscious buyers.

The Itel A300C comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ display running at a 90 Hz refresh rate. Audio comes via a 3.5mm headphone jack with DTS-enhanced sound tuning.
Power comes from an octa-core Unisoc T7100 chipset, paired with 4 GB of physical RAM that can be virtually expanded up to 12 GB using storage-based memory extension.
The phone runs Android 16 Go Edition out of the box, which Itel says is tuned to keep everyday apps like UPI payment platforms, video streaming and messaging running consistently despite the entry-level hardware. For security, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner alongside face unlock.
Durability is a clear focus for the Itel A300C. The phone is rated to MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards, aimed at withstanding everyday drops and general rough handling. Itel is backing that claim with a 100-day free screen replacement policy from the date of purchase.
Imaging is kept basic, with an 8 MP rear camera paired with an LED flash and a 5 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Where the Itel A300C tries to stand out is in its utility features. It includes an infrared transmitter that can double as a remote for compatible home appliances like TVs and ACs, USB-C with OTG support and Itel's UltraLink Free Call feature for calling over a network connection.
