Lenovo is expanding its mid-range tablet portfolio and has launched the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus in India. The brand is positioning it as a productivity workhouse that can also handle entertainment and act as a drawing device, while not burning a hole in your pocket.
The Idea Tab Plus is marketed as a productivity tablet
Starting with the tablet's display and design, it measures just 6.29 mm in thickness and weighs around 530 grams. At the front is a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It can get as bright as 800 nits under direct sunlight.

Powering the tablet is a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD card. On the software front, Lenovo includes Google's Circle to Search and comes pre-installed with note-taking, sketching and document annotation apps.
There's a massive 10,200mAh battery under the hood, which charges at 45W. The front camera is an 8 MP unit for taking video calls, while the rear consists of a 13 MP snapper. It runs Android 15 out of the box, with Lenovo promising two major Android updates and four years of security patches.

Audio-wise, the tablet features a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. Unfortunately, the tablet uses the older USB 2.0 standard and gets Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and a Lenovo Tab Pen included in the box.
As for the pricing and availability, it arrives in a Wi-Fi-only model and a 5G variant. The base Wi-Fi-only 12 GB + 256 GB variant costs Rs 27,999, whereas the base 8 GB + 256 GB 5G variant also costs Rs 27,999. The top-specced 5G variant is priced at Rs 30,999.
The tablet arrives in two colourways: Luna Grey and Cloud Grey. It can be pre-ordered on the Lenovo India store and starts shipping from December 22, 2025.
