The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 launched back in MWC 2026 as the brand's productivity powerhouse that ticks all the boxes on paper. Now, the tablet is finally coming to the Indian market. A dedicated Amazon microsite for the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 has also gone live, revealing all the specifications of the tablet ahead of launch.

Talking about the display first, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 features a stunning 13-inch 3.5K (3504 x 2190 pixels) LCD display with a fast 144 Hz refresh rate. This panel also delivers an HBM of 800 nits and 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.
The tablet will also come in a special Matte Edition, which will feature a "paper-like anti-glare matte display", just like the Xiaomi Pad 8. To further enhance the experience, the tablet also flaunts four JBL speakers, tuned by Dolby Atmos.
To take productivity to the next level, the tablet also comes with Lenovo Tab Pen Plus included right in the box. This will be backed by AI features for users to "circle a confusing section and bring up instant explanations with the question mark. Everything marked is saved to the Notepad app for easy review later."
The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is 6.2mm thick and weighs a hefty 598 grams. One of the biggest reasons behind its weighty form is a massive 10,200mAh battery, paired with 45W fast charging support. The tablet uses a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port for charging and data transfer.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage (expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card). On the software front, the tablet runs on Android 16 out of the box, with the brand promising two years of Android updates and four years of security patches.
On the optics front, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 packs a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter.
Connectivity options are also adequate with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. Additionally, the tablet also offers all the necessary sensors such as Accelerometer, RGB sensor, Gyroscope and Hall sensor.
Lastly, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 colours include Luna Grey, Jelly Mint and Cloud Grey.
While the brand hasn't hinted at the India pricing of the tablet, since the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 launched globally for around 549 Euros, we can expect it to be priced around Rs 65,000.
