Lenovo has officially pulled the wraps off the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 at MWC 2026, Barcelona. It's a 13-inch tablet geared toward productivity and content consumption with a sub-flagship Qualcomm processor, high refresh rate screen display and a massive battery.

Lenovo Idea Tab Gen 2 Specifications and Features

The tablet's specifications are identical to those of the Xiaoxin Pro GT 13 announced in China back in February 2026. The Idea Tab Gen 2 features a 13-inch 3.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness with Dolby Vision support. Besides, there's also a special Matte anti-glare finish on offer.

Processing power comes courtesy of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip paired with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage. There's also support for microSD for up to 2 TB of extra room. Powering the tablet is a 10,200mAh battery that supports 45W charging.

On the software side, the Idea Tab Gen 2 ships with Android 16 features, and Lenovo is promising 2 major OS upgrades and four years of security patches. Despite the large screen and battery, the tablet is fairly light at 600 grams and thin at 6.2 mm.

To make it viable for content consumption, the tablet boasts a quad-speaker JBL audio setup. There's a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter for taking video calls. For productivity, Lenovo is selling a 2-in-1 keyboard case featuring a dedicated Smart Key for instant access to AI translations and text generation.

The tablet will first hit the European market, starting at 549 euros (approximately Rs 58,800), and will be available in three colours - Luna Grey, Cloud Grey and Jelly Mind. Alongside the tablet, the brand has also teased its upcoming Legion Tab Gen 5 powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It will be launched later down the line.
