Homegrown brand Lumio is expanding its portfolio beyond smart TVs with the launch of its Arc 5 and Arc 7 smart projectors. The Arc series offer official Google TV support and up to 400 Lumens of brightness. Here's a detailed look at the specifications, pricing and availability of these smart projectors.
Lumio Arc 5 and Arc 7 Specifications and Features
The Lumio Arc 5 and the Arc 7 are aimed to offer a balanced price-to-specification ratio in the subcontinent. Lumio claims that the smart projectors can output up to "97% more pixels than a standard 32-inch TV" in the same price bracket. This is because both projectors can project in Full HD+ (1080p) resolution along with HDR10 support.
Both models can project up to 120-inches while toggling between three different projection sizes (40 to 100-inches for Arc 5 and 45 to 120-inches for Arc 7). Both projectors have a throw ratio of 1.2:1 and can project images in a 16:9 aspect ratio. The Arc 7 can go up to 400 ANSI lumens of brightness, while the Arc 5 can only offer up to 200 ANSI lumens.

Additionally, there is also support for premium features like auto Keystone correction (±30° vertical and ±25° horizontal), smart obstacle detection and auto focus capabilities via a dedicated Time of Flight (TOF) sensor.
Now, coming to the projection module, Lumio is using a closed and sealed enclosure design, which it calls the "ArcLight". This allows the brand to keep the internal components dust and debris-free.

Both projectors have a tall, cubic plastic shell that comes with an integrated UnderStand feature to prop the projectors at an angle. It comes with a built-in airflow system with a mesh design front and back for better air circulation. The Arc 5 weighs 1.33 kilograms, while the Arc 7 is heavier at 2.36 kilograms.
The Arc 5 and the Arc 7 also come with built-in speakers with Dolby Atmos and DGS Audio support. The Arc 7 has a dual 8W stereo speaker setup. Meanwhile, the Arc 5 comes with a single 5W speaker.
In terms of connectivity, the smart projectors get an HDMI port, a USB Type-A port, an Infrared port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated power on/off button. There is also Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi and HDCP 1.4, 2.3 support.
Lumio has also bundled in a smart remote to control the projectors. It offers a selection of buttons like a dedicated YouTube, Prime Video and Netflix button, a Google Assistant button, a TLDR button, and the usual set of power and volume buttons.

In terms of performance, both projectors are powered by the MediaTek MT9630 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.
Since these are smart projectors, the Arc 5 and the Arc 7 come with Google TV support out of the box. This means that by using these projectors, users will be able to stream Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and other streaming platforms effortlessly. Users will be able to watch 4,00,000+ movies and stream 10,000+ applications using the Arc series smart projectors. There is also Google Cast support for using the projector with smart TVs and monitors.
Lumio Arc 5 and Arc 7 Price in India and Sale Date
The Lumio Arc 5 and the Arc 7 will retail for Rs 19,999 and Rs 34,999, respectively. Both smart projectors will be available for sale on Amazon India.
The Arc 7 will be available to purchase starting July 12, 2025. Meanwhile, the Arc 5 will go on sale in the last week of July 2025. Lumio is yet to reveal the sale date of the Arc 5.
Additionally, interested buyers can get the Arc 7 for as low as Rs 29,999 during the Amazon Prime Day sales. Do note that it is only eligible from July 12 to July 14 and will be part of card discount offers.
