Motorola has decided to launch its entire 2026 smartphone catalogue in a single day. From the all-new Razr 2026 flip phones in the USA to the Moto g87 in Europe with a 200 MP camera, there are a lot of new Motorola phones globally. Now, the brand has announced the Moto g47, which brings an upgraded main camera, bigger battery and faster display than its predecessor.
Moto g47 Specifications and Features
Right off the bat, the biggest highlight with the Moto g47 is its camera. It features a capable 108 MP main camera sensor with support for OIS and 3x lossless zoom. It is powered by Motorola's Ultra Pixel imaging algorithm and is paired with a 2 MP macro camera and a 2-in-1 ambient light sensor.
At the front, the phone features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz IPS LCD panel with 1,050 nits of peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset and is paired with 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The phone also supports virtual RAM expansion of up to 8 GB and microSD card support of up to 1 TB. For software, the Moto g47 relies on MyUX based on Android 16, which brings a toned-down experience compared to the HelloUI in Moto Razr and Edge phones.
In terms of battery, there is a 5,200mAh cell inside with support for 18W fast USB-C charging. As for the rest, the Moto g47 is IP64 rated and brings MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, dual SIM 5G, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C 2.0 port.
In terms of pricing and availability, while Motorola has confirmed Moto g47 will go on sale first in Europe, its exact pricing details remain under wraps. We also expect the phone to launch in India in the coming weeks since its predecessors made their way to the country. The phone will be available in three colour options – Pantone Fuchsia Red, Pantone Nautical Blue and Pantone Impenetrable.
