Moto g86 Power Launched in India with a 6,720mAh Battery

After multiple teasers and updates, Motorola has finally launched the Moto g86 Power in India. Motorola's "Power" series focuses on bigger and better battery life, and with the g86 Power, the mantra stands true. Here is a detailed specifications, pricing and availability breakdown of the smartphone.

Moto g86 Power Specifications and Features

The biggest highlight of the Moto g86 Power is its battery capacity. At 6,720mAh, this is the first Motorola phone in India to sport a 6,000+mAh capacity. Motorola claims up to three days' worth of battery life, with an estimated runtime of 56 hours. It also comes with 33W fast USB-C charging support.

The device also stands out in the display department with a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120 Hz pOLED screen with HDR10+ support, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. It features minimal bezels on the side and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

It is encased within an 8.65 mm chassis and is complemented with a vegan leather back panel. It comes in three vibrant colourways that are Pantone-validated. The device is also lightweight at 198 grams.

The back is also home to a triple camera setup with an LED flash, housed within a raised circular camera module. It features a 50 MP main Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide cum macro 118° lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. In terms of video, the setup can shoot footage at 4K at 30 FPS.

There is a 32 MP selfie shooter at the front, housed within a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout. It is capable to record videos at 1440p at 30 FPS.

In terms of performance, under the hood, the g86 Power gets the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of storage. The device will also support virtual RAM expansion of up to 24 GB and microSD card memory expansion of up to 1 TB.

On the software side of things, the g86 Power ships out of the box with Hello UI based on Android 15. Motorola is promising only 1 year of software upgrade and 3 years of security updates. The Moto UI/UX is home to several handy features like Smart Connect, Family Space 3.0 and moto AI features.

Apart from this, the device offers IP68 + IP69 rating along with MIL-STD 810H certification and ThinkShield protection. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, dual 5G SIM support, GPS and a USB-C 2.0 port. 

Moto g86 Power Price in India and Sale Date

The Moto g86 Power will be available to purchase for Rs 17,999 for the sole 8 GB + 128 GB variant. It will go on sale starting from August 6, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST, via Flipkart and the official Motorola India website.

Interested buyers can choose from four Pantone-curated colourways namely – Spellbound, Cosmic Sky and Golden Cypress.
