Motorola has confirmed that the Moto Pad 70 Pro will launch in India on June 27, 2026. Ahead of its debut, the company has also confirmed several key specifications of the tablet. From a faster chipset to a thinner and lighter design, the tablet will arrive with a bunch of upgrades over last year's Moto Pad 60 Pro.
Moto Pad 70 Pro Specifications and Features
Motorola has confirmed that the Moto Pad 70 Pro features a 13-inch 3.5K LCD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 800-nit HBM, 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and Dolby Vision support. Now, this is larger, sharper and brighter than the Pad 60 Pro's 12.7-inch 3K panel with 400 nits HBM. To elevate the multimedia experience, the tablet retains the quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos sound from its predecessor.
Under the hood, the Moto Pad 70 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which is a notable upgrade over the Dimensity 8300 in the Pad 60 Pro. The chipset is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

To take productivity to the next level, the tablet will also arrive with a Moto Pen Pro stylus right in the box. In addition, the keyboard with trackpad will also be included in the box for "select variants".
Moreover, the tablet is also slim at 6.2mm, which makes it thinner than the predecessor's 6.9mm thickness. As a result, it's also lighter at 589 grams compared to the Pad 60 Pro's 620 grams weight.
However, Motorola doesn't compromise on battery capacity for this, as the Moto Pad 70 Pro retains the big 10,200mAh unit from the last generation. Motorola is claiming that the tablet can deliver up to 12.5 hours of YouTube streaming. The upcoming tablet also sticks to its predecessor's 45W fast charging support, with the brand claiming 2 hours of streaming on 10 minutes of charge.

Apart from this, the Moto Pad 70 Pro is confirmed to run on Android 16 OS out of the box, with the brand promising two years of major OS updates and security updates through 2030.
Motorola also confirms that the tablet will arrive with the brand's native Smart Connect app for seamless cross-device file sharing, phone/PC connectivity and more. The brand also highlights the presence of Google Gemini and Circle to Search AI features on the tablet.
Lastly, the Moto Pad 70 Pro will support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. For now, that's all we know about the upcoming tablet. However, with the launch being just days away, we won't have to wait for long to know the tablet's price and full specifications.
