Motorola has launched the Moto Pad 70 Pro in India as a successor to last year's Pad 60 Pro. It arrives with several upgrades over the last generation, including a more capable Snapdragon chipset, a brighter and sharper display, and more.

Moto Pad 70 Pro Specifications and Features

The Moto Pad 70 Pro features a 13-inch 3.5K LCD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 800 nits HBM, 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and Dolby Vision support. This is a noticeable upgrade over the Moto Pad 60 Pro, which sports a 12.7-inch 3K LCD panel with 400 nits HBM. However, Motorola has retained the quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos from the predecessor for an immersive multimedia experience.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which is a significant upgrade over the Pad 60 Pro's Dimensity 8300. It is paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

To boost productivity, Motorola bundles the Moto Pen Pro stylus in the box. There's a special 8 GB + 256 GB variant of the tablet, which also includes a keyboard with an integrated trackpad, making the tablet a more capable laptop alternative.

Despite retaining the 10,200mAh battery from its predecessor, the Moto Pad 70 Pro is slimmer and lighter, measuring 6.2mm thick and weighing 589 grams. For reference, the Pad 60 Pro sports a 6.9mm thickness and weighs 620 grams.

Motorola claims the battery can deliver up to 12.5 hours of YouTube streaming, while the 45W fast charging support can provide up to two hours of playback with just a 10-minute charge.

For video calls, there's also an 8 MP front camera to make use of. Meanwhile, to get some casual shots in, there's a 13 MP rear camera with an LED flash.

Rounding out the package are Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 support, bringing solid connectivity standards to Motorola's new tablet.
