Motorola has expanded its smartwatch portfolio further with the launch of the Moto Watch Ultra at IFA 2026. This is the brand's first watch with LTE connectivity and Qira AI, and it is also the most expensive Motorola smartwatch to date.
Moto Watch Ultra Specifications and Features
The Moto Watch Ultra features a 1.5-inch 2.5D curved pOLED circular display with 466 x 466 pixels resolution, a variable 1–60 Hz refresh rate, 2,700 nits of peak brightness, a dedicated Always-On Display (AOD) mode and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The 46 mm stainless steel body carries an IP68 rating and is waterproof up to 5 ATM. The Moto Watch Ultra weighs 51 grams and uses a crown plus a single button for navigation. Users can pair the smartwatch with 22mm third-party bands as well as Pantone-validated silicone straps from Motorola.
Powering the Moto Watch Ultra is the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor for wearables. For software, the smartwatch ships with Wear OS 6 out of the box, with a guaranteed upgrade to Wear OS 7 and Wear OS 8.
Battery life is rated at up to two days of active use with the always-on display switched off, and a 15-minute charge delivers around 24 hours.

For fitness and tracking, Motorola has again partnered with Polar to bring Polar’s fitness algorithms for accurate tracking and insights. The Moto Watch Ultra brings three key Polar features:
- Serene: breathing exercises with real-time biofeedback, tracking time spent across three serenity zones
- Nightly Recharge: combines sleep quality with autonomic nervous system recovery to show how the body handled the previous day
- Sleep Plus Stages: tracks light, deep and REM sleep to generate a personal sleep score
For daily activity, Polar offers Activity Goal, Activity Score, Active Intensity Zones, Inactivity Alert, Smart Calories and Energy Sources. Running Coach provides guided runs and walks with pacing guidance from the wrist.

Moving on, the Moto Watch Ultra is Motorola's first smartwatch with LTE connectivity support. Users can add an eSIM to the smartwatch to take calls, send messages and manage notifications without a phone nearby.
The smartwatch also comes with dual-band GPS and NFC support for Google Pay and Google Wallet. Aside from that, this is the first Motorola wearable with Motorola Qira AI built in. On compatible Motorola and Lenovo devices, users can raise their wrist or say "Hey Qira" to ask questions or pull up saved information across devices.
Lastly, in terms of pricing, the Moto Watch Ultra will be available in Europe starting from 429 euros (approximately Rs 47,200). Motorola has confirmed that the smartwatch will also roll out in markets like the Middle East, Latin America, North America and Asia-Pacific in the coming weeks. So, stay tuned.
