Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set to soon join the ultra-slim league of smartphones with the Moto X70 Air. Ahead of its official launch, the official store page for the phone has gone live, revealing most of the key details.
Moto X70 Air will be 5.99mm thick and weigh just 159 grams
Going by the store page listing, the X70 Air from Motorola will measure just 5.99mm in thickness and weigh just 159 grams, making it one of the slimmest and lightest phones out there. For reference, the S25 Edge is 5.8mm thick and weighs 163 grams, while the iPhone Air is 5.64mm thick and weighs 165 grams.

Motorola has packed in a 4,800mAh battery with 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support. Meanwhile, on the display front, the Moto X70 Air will feature a 6.7-inch pOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. This panel will also be backed by Pantone and SGS certifications for eye care.
Under the hood, the upcoming phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. As for software, the smartphone will run on Android 16-based Hello UI.

Talking about optics, the Moto X70 Air will sport a 50 MP primary rear camera alongside a 50 MP ultrawide with a 120° field of view. At the front, the phone will come with a 50 MP selfie shooter as well.
From what the store page tells us, durability hasn't been compromised and the X70 Air will carry an IP68 and IP69 rating. It will also arrive in the Pantone-validated Lily Pad, Gadget Grey and Bronze Green colourways.
The Moto X70 Air launch date has been set for October 31, 2025, in China. Meanwhile, the phone will launch as the Motorola Edge 70 in global markets on November 5, 2025. We can expect the India launch of the phone to happen sometime right after.
