Motorola has officially launched the Motorola Edge 70 Pro in India, strengthening its position in the competitive premium mid-range segment. The new Edge 70 Pro is powered by a capable Dimensity 8000 series chipset, offers a generous batter capacity and a stunning AMOLED display, all for under Rs 40,000.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro Specifications and Features
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro features a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,200 nits. This panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and comes with a quad-curved design, adding to its premium appeal. It also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning for an enhanced multimedia experience.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, paired with up to 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of storage. For those unaware, the Extreme variant is just a slightly overclocked custom version of the regular Dimensity 8500 chipset. The smartphone also packs in a large 4,600mm2 vapour chamber cooling system to ensure sustained performance during intensive tasks like gaming.
On the camera front, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50 MP Sony LYT-710 primary sensor. It is accompanied by a 50 MP ultra-wide camera and at the front, there's a 50 MP selfie shooter. Motorola is also adding AI-powered image processing features, including automatic style generation and background enhancements.

One of the standout highlights is its massive 6,500mAh battery, paired with 90W fast charging support. On the software front, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro runs on Android 16 with Hello UI and is promised to receive three years of OS updates and five years of security patches.
In terms of durability, the phone comes with IP68 + IP69 ratings along with MIL-STD-810H certification.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro Price in India and Sale Date
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is priced at Rs 38,999 for the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant. Meanwhile, the top-tier 12 GB RAM and 256 GB model is priced at Rs 41,999.
With launch offers including a Rs 2,000 bank discount, the effective price drops to Rs 36,999 and Rs 39,999, respectively. The phone comes in Lily White (marble), Tea (satin luxe green) and Titan (fabric-inspired blue) colour options.
Sale starts from April 29, 2026, via Flipkart, the official Motorola India website and partner retail stores.
From the looks of it, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro could very well be one of the best phones under Rs 40,000, locking horns with the likes of the OnePlus Nord 6 and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro.
