Motorola India's official X account took the internet by surprise with a new teaser which could be hinting at the India launch of a new phone.
The brand hints that "A new perspective is coming". We also see a short teaser video, showcasing close-ups of what appears to be different materials used to make the phone's back panel. We also see different colourways, including light green, dark green, black, purple and gold.
Moreover, the brand's official US X account also posted the same teaser, but with the date September 22, 2026, attached.
Although the brand hasn't outright revealed the phone's name, all signs strongly suggest that it could be the Motorola Signature 27. Motorola's websites for some regions show a pop-up to sign up for updates on this phone, with the very same "A new perspective is coming" tagline. This directly links our mysterious Motorola phone to Signature 27.
For those unaware, the brand has been teasing the Motorola Signature 27 for a while now. It is expected to be a successor to the Motorola Signature, which launched earlier this year.
Sadly, nothing else is known about the phone at the moment. Neither can we convincingly say that it could be the phone that the brand is teasing. This could also be the India launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Neo, which was officially confirmed at IFA 2026 a while back.
We hope that the September 22 event can bring some clarity on what this phone exactly is. Till then, stay tuned.
