Nothing teased the arrival of its next truly wireless earbuds, the Nothing Ear (3), a few days ago. Two teasers later, the firm has finally revealed the launch date of the same, and it's happening next month.
Nothing's official account posted on X that the Nothing Ear (3) will launch on September 18, 2025. The image in the post shows the earbuds and their transparent stems with the "ear (3)" text in Nothing's Ndot font and metallic grey insides.

The black eartips combined with the black nozzle seem to contrast the transparent casing and the metallic elements. Besides, the faceplate of the earbuds was previously teased with a metallic grille design with a similar colour to the metal elements inside the stem.

Following the announcement of Ear (3), Nothing has clarified its product naming strategy. The company is dropping the launch year in favour of sequential version numbers, returning to the convention used for its original Ear series.
We still don't have much information about the Ear (3)'s specifications. However, we expect the earbuds to boast improved noise cancellation, better build quality and feature KEF audio tuning.
The early Ear (3) launch comes as a surprise for us. It could be to compete with Apple's upcoming AirPods Pro 3, which could launch in Apple's Awe Dropping event tomorrow, i.e., September 9, 2025.
More information about the earbuds should be revealed as we inch closer to the launch. Stay tuned as we will be closely following any leaks that come our way.
