What if not just your earbuds but also their charging case could "hear you"? Well, looks like Nothing is putting the spotlight on your voice with its upcoming Ear (3), as the earbuds have now been teased to arrive with a "Super Mic".
The brand took to its official X handle to tease the feature with the tagline "Now they can hear you." This hints at a major upgrade in how its earbuds capture and transmit sound. In the image shared, we can see a person pressing down the previously teased "Talk" button on the Ear (3) and speaking into where this Super Mic seemingly is.

We already anticipated this to be a microphone and turns out, that's true after all. But what purpose does this "Super Mic" serve in the first place? From the looks of it, it could very well be an AI-powered beamforming microphone of sorts to isolate the vocals in super noisy environments.
This could be targeted at creators on the go who wish to capture good-quality audio when vlogging. However, regular users could also benefit from the extra microphone power in intensely noisy surroundings.

Moreover, it also makes sense for that second indicator to be there on the case, which we spotted earlier. It seems like this indicator could light up when the "Talk" button is being used to summon the "Super Mic".
However, nothing can be said for sure at this point and all these are mere assumptions. So, take it with a grain of salt and wait for the brand to declare the Ear (3) Super Mic's actual functionality.
If it's indeed what we think it is, this would be a great creator-friendly pair of earbuds. Besides, it wouldn't be surprising, since Nothing has a serious flair for the creative and loves standing out from the crowd.
