The Nothing Headphone 1 Pro is official and is taking the brand's premium audio push a step further. Most importantly, the brand has a new global brand ambassador in BTS member and global music superstar V (Kim Taehyung).
In a new post on X, Nothing shared photos of V wearing the Headphone (1) Pro in both the Black and White colourways, giving fans of the South Korean pop band and the brand a closer look at the newly launched headphones.
The post is captioned with an interactive fill-in-the-blank marketing campaign, following a parasocial engagement strategy. Nothing dubs the partnership "Nothing (V)", inviting fans to experience their favourite tracks like V.
Besides, the caption highlights the headphone's triple driver setup for more "sonic detail". For those unaware, multiple drivers are specifically used to separate audio frequencies efficiently and to deliver a clearer music-listening experience.
As for the other specifications, the Headphone (1) Pro features 46 dB of Active Noise Cancellation and a 1,060mAh battery that's capable of delivering up to 68 hours of battery life with ANC off. There are a total of 10 microphones on offer, alongside a transparency mode.
The Headphone (1) Pro are Hi-Res certified and features LDAC for lossless audio via Bluetooth 6.0. There's Hi-Res support via a 3.5mm cable alongside wear detection, Google Fast Pair and an IP52 water and dust resistance rating.
The headphone also retains the same controls as the Headphone (1), with a paddle to skip to the next or previous track, a roller to increase and decrease the volume, a pairing button and an Assistant button. However, a new addition to the Pro is a FLAT switch that disables the EQ and lets users hear frequencies without any overlay.
The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is listed on Nothing's India website, meaning it's coming to the subcontinent. However, information about its price and potential availability is unknown at the moment, so stay tuned for all the updates.
