Back in March 2025, Nothing introduced the Phone (3a) series in India. While only the Phone (3a) and the Phone (3a) Pro were launched, there were talks of there being a third Nothing Phone (3a) Lite being added to the lineup at a later date. Now, the phone has appeared on the BIS certification website and an official launch doesn't seem too far away.
Nothing Phone (3a) Lite allegedly spotted on BIS website
Reliable tipster Debayan Roy on X has revealed that a new phone from Nothing with the model number A001T has been listed under the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website. The date of listing is revealed to be October 15, 2025, which is today itself.

If we go by the model naming scheme that Nothing follows, from the Nothing Phone (1) to the recently launched Nothing Phone (3), none of them end with the letter "T". Even the CMF by Nothing phones follow the same naming mantra. For example, the Phone (3a) and the Phone (3a) Pro bear the A059 and A059P, respectively.
Hence, the "T" at the end of this new phone most likely hints at a toned-down smartphone, which is believed to be the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite. Moreover, the A001 number could also indicate the debut of a new category of smartphones.

So, if the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite turns into reality, expect to see a Nothing Phone (4a) Lite as well in 2026. Speaking of that, early speculations believe that the Lite version will launch in 2025 itself, either in November or December.
As for the Phone (3a) Lite specifications, it is still in its early stages of leaks. Hence, not much is known at the time of writing. Expect the smartphone to sit somewhere between the Nothing Phone (3a) and the CMF Phone 2 Pro. We believe that the smartphone will possibly ditch the telephoto camera to make its way into the budget space.

Apart from this, expect the phone to bring 33W USB-C charging, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage and the following specs:
- Full HD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display
- Nothing OS 4.0 based on Android 16
- 50 MP main camera and 8 MP ultra-wide lens
- 16 MP selfie camera
- 5,000mAh battery
- MediaTek processor
That said, none of the above-mentioned specs are confirmed. So, take them with a grain of salt. We will make sure to report on anything official from the brand here at Beebom Gadgets. So, stay tuned for more Nothing Phone (3a) Lite updates.
