This month, Nothing's upcoming and supposedly affordable Phone (3a) Lite has been a rumour mill favourite. Now, the smartphone finally has a launch date out of nowhere and it's sooner than we expected.
Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is launching on October 29
Nothing took to its official X handle to confirm that the Phone (3a) Lite launch date is scheduled for October 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM GMT (or 6:30 PM IST). In addition, the brand also teased the design of the phone and it looks like a toned-down version of the Phone (3a). We see a single white LED light on the rear panel, which could possibly trigger during incoming calls and notifications.

The Phone (3a) Lite is also seen to flaunt the Nothing-signature transparent back panel with colour-matched screws. Interestingly enough, there's an indent at the back panel as well, possibly hinting at a modular design with a clip-on battery or some other additional accessory. Nothing has toyed with designs before and the CMF Phone (1) is a pretty good example.
While that's all that we get from the teaser, thanks to leaks and reports, we know a couple of other details as well. For starters, the Phone (3a) Lite pricing also surfaced online and it is said to start from 249.99 euros (approximately Rs 26,000). The same leak also suggested a November 4, 2025, launch date, so the actual confirmation comes unexpectedly early.

Going by that, the upcoming phone will be affordable and sit comfortably in between the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro, which launched earlier this year.
Apart from that, a recent Nothing Phone (3a) Lite Geekbench sighting also gave us a good idea of its performance. Turns out, the phone could very well be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300. The Dimensity 7400 would have certainly been more welcome. In addition, the phone may also offer 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
Now, while the Phone (3a) Lite will be one of the Nothing OS 4.0 supported devices, it will not run the software out of the box. As per the Geekbench listing, it will run on Android 15 instead.
Sadly, the India launch details of the Phone (3a) Lite are currently under wraps. However, we do expect to hear from the brand in this regard in the coming days.
