Looks like Air is in trend as talks of a Nubia Air has been making rounds in the rumour mill lately. Now, a new leak gives us our first good look at the device through not just official-looking renders, but a real-life image as well. In addition, the specifications of the smartphone have also been detailed.
Noted tipster Evan Blass took to X to post some official-looking renders of the Nubia Air. He also gives us a good look at the phone in the wild and the phone does resemble the rumoured iPhone 17 Air quite a bit.

We see the phone in a glossy champagne gold-like colourway. The horizontally aligned pill-shaped camera module at the top, however, is a dead giveaway of the Apple inspiration. Well, it is called the Nubia Air. This camera module is seen housing three camera sensors, an LED flash and a red sensor.
The front of the Nubia Air render showcases a punch-hole display with mostly uniform bezels throughout, with a slightly thicker chin. Meanwhile, on the right side of the frame, there are the volume rockers and a red power button. The left side of the frame is empty.

Further, we see a single microphone at the top, while the second microphone is placed at the bottom along with a speaker grille, a USB-C 2.0 port and a SIM tray.
As for the Nubia Air specifications, going by the leaked document, the device is 6.7mm thin and weighs just 172 grams. At the front, the phone features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ OLED display.
Under the hood, the smartphone is seemingly powered by the Unisoc T8300 and offers 8 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the phone could bring 256 GB to the table. On the software front, it runs on Android 15 right out of the box.
For photography, the triple rear camera setup includes a 50 MP primary sensor, a 2 MP secondary sensor and a third 0.8 MP sensor. At the front, there's a 20 MP sensor for selfies.
Fueling it all is a generous 5,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, dual nano-SIM support, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), GPS and NFC.
However, it's all just leaks now and we'd recommend taking it all with a grain of salt. However, from the looks of it, the Nubia Air could be a budget device that focuses on style over substance.
Expect to see more details surface in the coming days and probably an official confirmation from the brand anytime soon.
