Summary

  • Wobble has teased the Speed 5G, its second smartphone in India.
  • The phone has a new circular camera module, replacing the Wobble One’s square design.
  • Wobble Speed 5G could be priced around Rs 20,000 in India.

Indian brand Wobble entered the smartphone market last November with the Wobble One launch. Now, the company is getting ready to launch its second phone, the Wobble Speed 5G.

The teaser images say "coming soon" and show the Wobble Speed 5G with a circular camera module on the back. Apart from that, Wobble hasn’t revealed any specifications yet. We don’t know the chipset, display, cameras or battery capacity of the phone yet.

Wobble also has not announced the launch date. However, since the company has started teasing the phone, we expect the launch to happen soon. The Wobble One was sold through Amazon and offline stores, so the Speed 5G will likely follow the same route.

According to 91mobiles, the Wobble Speed 5G price in India could be set around Rs 20,000 in India. If that’s true, it will sit just below the Wobble One, which launched at a starting price of Rs 22,000. At this price, the Speed 5G will compete with budget 5G phones from brands like Redmi, Realme, iQOO and Samsung.

For those unaware, Wobble is a brand under Indkal Technologies, the company that also makes Acer-branded phones in India. The Wobble One focused on a clean, bloatware-free Android experience, so we expect the Speed 5G to do the same.

At Wobble, we believe the starting point of every great product should be the consumer, not a price tag. Our philosophy has always been to put the product and the experience first, making deliberate choices about design, technology and the features that genuinely matter. We don’t believe premium experiences should be defined by how much a consumer is willing to spend, but by how thoughtfully a product is conceived and built.
